For most college students, graduating with the degree in hand is enough of an accomplishment. But Lance Nitahara will leave the CIA in November with a fistful of professional certifications, too: Certified Pastry Culinarian (ACF), Certified Chef De Cuisine/PCII (ACF, CIA), and now—following a four-day exam he took the week of August 25—Certified Executive Chef.
